Our Promise of Stewardship

Priorities for a better future are set by partner communities, not by us. Donations to campaigns, projects, Child Sponsorship, and items in the Gift Guide equip local programs that make real change possible. Donation amounts and item prices are suggested donations; program costs vary from country to country.

We strive to operate efficiently and spend responsibly on fundraising and administration.
FH Canada promises to implement your gift where the need is greatest to ensure your donation makes a positive impact through innovative, cost-effective means. Should a specific program reach fulfillment, we will direct your donation to where the need is greatest.

Fiscal Responsibility

FH Canada raises funds for community development and emergency response worldwide. Federally incorporated, the organization expects to raise $13,392,393 this fiscal year 2024 at a cost of $1,758,373 to reach this goal.

Tax Receipts

Official receipts for tax purposes are mailed in late February of the following calendar year. Your total annual giving is aggregated to help reduce costs. Electronic receipts are available for download in your online account.

Our Promise of Integrity

All charities are under scrutiny by government agencies, not-for-profit watchdogs, and the public. We welcome accountability and how it guides us towards best practices. FH Canada's programs and budgets are monitored by our Board of Directors who take an active role in stewarding the purpose and promise of FH Canada.

As an accredited member of the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities (CCCC), FH Canada meets the stringent standards set by the CCCC for accountability and organizational integrity:
  • We will spend the money you entrusted to us only where the need is the greatest.
  • We will work only through trusted local partner organizations that can guarantee the safe delivery of your support.
  • We will ensure your donation stretches as far as possible by using innovative, cost-effective methods.
  • We will operate efficiently, spending a minimum of resources on fundraising and administration.
